Yayoi Kusama’s Polka Dots in New York
July 15, 2012 § Leave a comment
Yayoi Kusama’s polka dots inside Whiteny Museum:

Yayoi Kusama’s exhibition from July 12โSeptember 30. The part I like most is “Fireflies on the Water”. I love the name and the installation is so lovely. If you cannot see it in person, there are several photos in The New York Times.
Louis Vuitton on 5th Avenue:

The lady in the lower-right corner is Kusama.

Who doesn’t like polka dots?!

Deco Japan: Shaping Art and Culture, 1920โ1945 Friday, March 16 โ Sunday, June 10
A very nice little exhibition at Japan Society in New York. $12 each person for the fine art work and a tranquil indoor Japanese garden in the middle of the building.
Pretty girl, but smoking is not allowed inside the building any more. ๐
Exhibition brochure – the two designs are promoting music pieces/records.

They are wearing swimsuits and diving into the ocean.

Nice indoor garden
